aida connects your building’s lighting, shades, and HVAC to the Cisco tools your teams already use.
How It Works
aida connects your building systems to Cisco’s platforms, so you can control, monitor, and optimize your space all in one place.
Lighting • Shades • HVAC
Secure • Smart • Connected
Webex • Spaces • Splunk
Set up through Webex Control Hub, aida puts lighting, shade and HVAC controls on the Webex Room Navigator in each meeting room. aida discovers your Webex devices, lets you build a control panel for each room, and links each device to the aida Controller that runs that space. Changes made on the panel reach the room in real time. Voice control is available as an add-on through the aida skill for Webex Assistant. For sites that keep data on premises, the integration can also run in a local-webhook mode.
If your IT team already maintains floor plans in Cisco Spaces, there’s no reason to draw them twice. aida Controller imports 2D floor plans straight from Cisco Spaces, and your facilities team places aida devices on the same maps. Cisco Spaces stays the source of truth for maps; aida keeps a local copy, so the plan stays available if the connection drops.
IT and security teams live in Splunk. aida sends building events and energy metrics to Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud, so the people watching the network can also see what’s happening in lighting, shades and power and correlate it with everything else they monitor.
aida runs lighting and devices powered over Cisco Catalyst PoE switching, deployed with our partners MHT Technologies and Digital Building Solutions. The aida Controller runs at the edge of your network, so automation, schedules and daylight control keep working even when the internet doesn’t.
